G.M.I. ACQUIRES DIGITAL
VISION'S COMPONENT BUSINESS
HONG
KONG, July 9, 2007 –
Commenting
on the announcement, Lewis Lo, president of G.M.I., said, "We are
very excited to add DVi's strong portfolio of CE solutions, long
term customers, and qualified staff to the G.M.I. team. This new
business complements G.M.I.'s current business extremely well and
should accelerate our progress towards achieving our growth objectives,
not only in mainland China but also in other markets. In addition
to the solutions and large customer base we are acquiring, we are
excited to add Hitachi GST (HDD's) and Actions Semiconductor (chipsets)
