PETE ANDREYEV NAMED CHAIRMAN, DIGITALVISON
INC, BASED IN HONG KONG
Hong Kong, June 30, 2006 - Digital
Vision Inc. (DVi) today announced that high technology industry
veteran Pete Andreyev has been named Chairman of the company.
An accomplished industry executive with more than 25 years of experience, Andreyev has held management and executive positions with General Electric, IBM and Hitachi, and is currently CEO and President of MaxProfit Consulting Ltd., a privately held Hong Kong company.
Andreyev has served on the boards of several companies, including as chairman, and is recognized as an expert on business practices in Asia Pacific, having worked for the past six years in Japan, Taiwan and mainland China.
As Chairman of the newly established DVi, Andreyev will be responsible
for the strategic direction of the company and major partner and
customer relationship management. Pete brings a wealth of relevant
experience to his new role, including extensive knowledge of consumer
electronics OEMs and ODMs across Asia, which will be invaluable
to the success of DVi as a key long-term partner for the growing
CE design industry in this part of the world, said Steve Wong, President,
DVi.
Andreyev earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Science degree in Management from Stanford University. DVi President Steve Wong, who has 16 years of industry experience and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, will report to Andreyev.
