ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE ISSUE ON MP3 PLAYER UTILITIES 3.68 OR PREVIOUS VERSION

There are some Anti-Virus softwares reported the MP3 Player Utilities 3.68 or previous version contained virus after updated it's Virus Defination at June 23rd and June 27th. For this problem, DVi and Actions Semiconductor performed a number of tests and found No Virus contained in those previous released MP3 Player Utilities 3.68 or previous 3.xx version, the Anti-Virus software may wrongly define the DelDrv.exe file as Trojan horse virus.

By the way, Actions Semiconductor released the following update patch today for solving the problem so that which can pass any Anti-Virus softwares.

MP3 Player Utilities Patch 2.0 for Ver 3.68 or Previous 3.xx Version

This Patch is for solving the misreport problem of some anti-virus software which detected the DelDrv.exe file in the MP3 Player Utilities version 3.68 or previous may contained the Trojan.win32.Del.All.q or Harm.Delfiles.f Virus. Following is the installation process.

Installation Procedure:

1.) Download and Unzip the MP3PU_Patch2_060823.zip file into your PC.

2.) Double click the Patch.exe in MP3PU_Patch2_060823 Folder to run the program.

3.) A Patch 2.0 Window pop up, then click YES to continue to apply the patch.

4.) After Patch Success! window pop up, the process finished then click OK to exit.
