Pete Andreyev joined DVi as chairman in early 2006. Pete has over 25 years of experience, and has held management and executive positions with General Electric, IBM and Hitachi. He has led successful teams in sales and marketing, manufacturing operations, product development, and business planning. Prior to joining DVi his most recent positions were as founder of MaxProfit Consulting Ltd. and as Vice President of Asia Pacific for Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (HGST), where he had annual sales responsibility of US $2B. He also served as chairman of HGST Asia Pacific.

Pete is recognized as an expert in conducting business in Asia Pacific. For the past six years he has lived in Japan, Taiwan and mainland China.. Pete has conducted business in almost every Asia country as well as in the U.S. and Europe. He clearly understands the unique business practices within each country, especially in Greater China. Pete has experience working with OEM`s, ODM`s, System Integrators, Distributors, and Resellers. He has significant expertise working with international companies.

Pete earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Science degree in Management from Stanford University.
